*AW 109 maintenance experience

Location: RAF Shawbury (Shropshire)
Our client is an organisation specialising in the provision, operation and support of helicopters for military and governmental applications world-wide and is seeking to appoint a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to their facility at RAF Shawbury in Shropshire.
The Licensed Aircraft Engineer's duties will include:
*Undertaking maintenance tasks on Civil Owned - Military Registered aircraft allocated to the operation in accordance with the requirements of EASA Part 145.
*Supervising technical and non-technical staff allocated by the Chief Engineer for specific maintenance and / or non-maintenance related tasks.
*Reporting of unserviceabilities relating to aircraft, systems and services identified during the course of duty.
*Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the work place.
*Ensuring compliance with established 'Tool Control' procedures.
*Undertaking secondary duties allocated to him by the Chief Engineer, e.g. POL management, publication control, and tool inventory administration.
*Complying with internal auditor duties as directed by the Chief Engineer.
*Fulfilling any other tasks as Delegated to him by the Chief Engineer.
*Aircraft flight servicing inspections (DFS).
*Scheduled inspections and maintenance requirements.
*Fault diagnosis and rectification work.
*Component replacement, planned alterations and modifications.
*Participation in aircraft maintenance test flights and subsequent analysis of results, e.g. vibration data.
*Assisting in the daily ground handling/aircraft movement tasks of the Section including refuelling/defuelling, post starting checks for faults, leaks, security of doors, panels etc. and cleaning/washing of aircraft when required.
*Aircraft Documentation, to conduct inspection of aircraft documentation to ensure all relevant entries in regards to the work carried out by himself have been made and are correct.
Qualifications/Licences/Experience:
*AW 109 maintenance experience
*UK CAA BCAR licence or European EASA Part 66 licence
*Preferably type rated upon 109 and / or one of B212/B412/AS350
Shift work is required and benefits include free life assurance, personal pension scheme and 30 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays.
Salary: c£40,000
