Dunross UK Taxi Driver

- Good spoken English.
- Car licence for at least 2 years
- No criminal convictions
- Zero serious driving convictions (e.g. drink driving, speeding 30+kph
- No more than 3 minor convictions in 2 years (e.g. seatbelt, mobile phone, speeding 10-20kph etc.)

Dunross recruits and trains individuals on behalf of taxi and private hire companies in the UK.

WE WILL NEVER CHARGE YOU ANY MONEY FOR RECRUITMENT OR TRAINING - these costs are covered by our clients.

The job you are applying for is Taxi driver in the UK. This position is also known as a 'self-employed private hire driver'.

- You must be either:
- at least 21 years old and have held a full car licence for a minimum of three years OR
- at least 25 years old and have held a full car licence for a minimum of one year
- You must never have been banned from driving for any reason (we will check your driving records)
- You should have no serious convictions on your licence
- Your licence must have been issued by a EU country (this includes CZ, SK, PL, BG, RO, HU & SLO)
- You must be communicable in English
- You must have no criminal convictions (we check your criminal record for convictions)

The process is simple:

- In co-operation with our clinet we will conduct a 4 day job training course.
- This training is given at our Prague offices.
- We can help arrange budget accommodation for you if required.
- You will be asked to provide documentation before the course start-date. This will include a home-country criminal record check and a home-country traffic police record and notarised translations of both.
- After the training you will return to your country of residence whilst your documentation is processed. this usually takes 2 - 3 weeks
- You then travel to the UK city that you have been trained for where you will complete your induction with the private hire / taxi company that you have been trained for.

As a self-employed driver you can expect to clear a minimum of GBP350 net per week although many drivers earn much more than this.
